This unique home is actually comprised of three separate
natural wooden structures all interconnected by decking. The master
bedroom suite has a king-sized bed, tiled floor, skylights and ceiling
fan. Walk out the door and step across the deck to the covered veranda.
You'll find comfortable Honduran furniture and hammocks for your relaxation.
There are ceiling fans and skylights too. Along the rear wall is a half
bath and a laundry room with washing machine. There is also an outside
bamboo shower perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach. These
areas are tastefully decorated with Guatemalan tapestries and masks.

The third structure is the main part of the house and
includes a modern kitchen with all the amenities. All the pots, pans,
silverware and cooking utensils needed to prepare a nice meal. There
is a full size refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, can opener, blender
and coffee maker. Across from the kitchen is the second bedroom with
a full size bed. Linens are supplied and beach towels are available
upon request. There is also a full bath with a tiled shower and an opaque
glass block wall. Look through the Plexiglas ceiling while showering
and admire the stars. This part of the home is decorated in a tropical
theme. You will also find a TV (no cable) and a wide choice of DVD's
of viewing and relaxation.
The yard is surrounded by a 6-foot high wooden fence providing both privacy and security. There are concrete walkways and pathways that meander through the beautiful tropical gardens filled with many exotic plants, flowers, and fruit trees. There are always hummingbirds to be seen. It's possible to spot an iguana in the trees or maybe even a "monkey lala" scamper by. |
All the dive shops, restaurants, bars,
gift shops, and grocery stores in West End are all within walking distance.
A rental car isn't necessary. |
