Hi Jeff, >> (2) Is it possible to rent cell phones on Roatan? You can rent a cell phone from Paradise Computers to call around Roatan, to the mainland of Honduras and to receive calls from the US. The phones run on a prepaid card system and I don't think it is possible to call the US with them. Also be aware that when CelTel put in the towers, for some reason they don't offer very good coverage. The method for cell phone use in West End is to stand at the end of one of the docks and the connection still isn't great. You'll have to reserve a cell phone, so contact Mitch at mitch.....com .
