Jeff- There are a couple of Roatan rental car outfits advertising at the Travel to Honduras and Roatanet web sites. www.travel-to- If you can't find a phone rental, and depending on how much cell phone time you will need (and if you have a States side cellular provider) you may want to buy some Honduras cell roaming time from your local provider before you go and take your phone with you. My Sprint system from the States 'seemed' to connect fine to the CelTel network in La Ceiba but honestly I didn't try it. Many of the internet cafes have internet phone service at reasonable prices as an option. (See the Travel to Honduras web site under general services. The Roatan On Line site http://www.roatanonline.com/ under services indicates that you may be able to rent phones at some of the internet cafes as well) Charlie Meador Help us out here islanders! | |
